This is a multi-function widget for SysStats 2.5. It displays system stats, displays weather and allows you to control a media player.

You will need AveDesk 1.2 http://www.aqua-soft.org/board/s... installed before you install this. You should also install the weather icons from AeroWeather or SysStats Pack 1 first. You can get those here at dockex too.

To install this widget rename the .zip as .aveinst and then double-click it. AveDesk will do the rest.

There are instructions for use in the screen shot. You will probably need to configure the system statistics view to match your machine. To do so, right click on the widget, and select 'Configure...', then click on the 'Meters' tab and select each of mtrHDD, mtrIn and mtrOut. Configure each one to match your system.

To make sure that iTunes can be controlled when it isn't the front-most window you might need to install iTunes MultiPlugin http://www.aqua-soft.org/board/s... . To ensure that you can control WinAmp you might need to go to enable Global Hotkeys in the preferences.

This is a bit of a CPU hog, but hey, the beauty is worth the pain eh?

This is based off of the Milk Vertical widget for Samurize by Tadis available here http://myweb.tiscali.co.uk/sidat... with his permission (and he did a lot of the work of this port). His work was a source of inspiration for me in developing SysStats.

Oh BTW - you can use the mouse scroll-wheel to control the volume of a media player...
